About
At Voidcomp we’re all about communication. It causes people to laugh, cry, relate and understand. We specialise in the way this communication occurs through two senses, our ears and eyes.
We communicate stories and messages for our clients through moving images, audio and face to face consultation. A process which begins with one of the most important communication tools, the ability to listen.
Voidcomp is a small, experienced and creative team with a collective background in video production and post production. We pride ourselves on taking any brief from concept to completion, and being a small team we maximise efficiency. We also have an amazing network of trusted specialists at our disposal, so if we do have to draw in collaborators from new fields to suit your needs, we always have the right people for the job.
We place a strong emphasis on team work; we work in crews to ensure each role has a specialist filling it. This maximises creative input, minimises risk and ensures the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
The relationships that develop between us and our clients is seen as a long term one. We place an emphasis on trust, enjoyment and a shared commitment to ensure we can provide what you need.
Viewing our work is the best way to decide if Voidcomp is the right creative partner for you.

Background & Ethos
Voidcomp derives its name from voigt-kampff; put simply a measure of human responses such as respiration, blush reaction, heart rate and eye movement in response to emotionally provocative questions.
The company was founded in 2008 by James Stier to bring together talented, committed and uncompromising professionals who want to produce a higher standard of production.
James, a successful short film producer was offered a position at Apple Computer. His role focused on film and video post production and while working for Apple he supported some large productions and clients.
James gave up his job working with Apple when he was asked to crew a documentary project in the Himalayas. On his return, half a year later he joined the RAF as an Auxiliary Aircraft man and began the processes of building a company with a different outlook to media production.
His experiences working in one of the most demanding environments on the planet combined with his military training showed him how important team work was, and how much everyone relied on the support of one another. Having seen a lack of this way of thinking in media production, his goal was to build a network of uncompromising professionals who together create things that an individual can not begin to imagine.
Voidcomp succeeds as a team, and learns as a team.
