Momentum Film – Jordan ‘Why Am I Here?’

Navigation: News | Project Date: Dec 07, 2011

This is the third film from the set of Momentum Leadership Course shorts, this time featuring Jordan Searcey.

Jordan is a 21 year old college senior at the University of Nebraska, USA.  American culture is very different to that of the UK, and can often be quite insular.  However through travelling and interacting with people from different cultures Jordan has been able to change her outlook and realised that the world doesn’t end outside her country or even her state. Finding value in helping others brings an unexplainable satisfaction to her. Through this she has begun to discover what she is passionate about.

Momentum Youth Development CIC released the third film in the series this week. Working alongside the team at Momentum Voidcomp devised a theme based around the concept of why people would attend the Momentum Leadership course.

Our team devised this concept and took it to its conclusion. We completed principle photography with the 4 participants in 5 days. Production took place all over the country, from the grounds of King’s College London to the Magna Centre in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

In the films the course participants discuss their lives, how they view leadership and how the Momentum course has helped them to develop. The first two films have already been released, they were about Anna and Goran.
